What to Expect During Your 45-Minute Salt Cave Session

Your guide to a relaxing salt cave experience at Oceanair. What to wear, when to arrive, and why it’s so worth it.

Ready to Relax? Here’s What to Know Before You Arrive

Stepping into a Himalayan salt cave isn’t just an appointment—it’s a full-body reset. At Oceanair Himalayan Salt Cave, our 45-minute sessions are designed to help you unplug, unwind, and breathe deeply in a space that’s calm, quiet, and beautifully healing.

Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, this video walks you through exactly what to expect so you can make the most of your visit.

Arrive Early to Ease In

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled session. This gives you time to check in, use the restroom, and transition from the outside world into a more peaceful mindset. Salt cave doors close promptly at the start time, and late entry isn’t permitted once the session begins.

No Phones, No Distractions

To maintain a tranquil environment for all guests, we ask that you leave phones, smartwatches, and electronic devices outside the cave. This is your time to disconnect from notifications and reconnect with your breath.

Photos and videos are not permitted during sessions—this time is truly about being present.

What to Wear

The cave is kept cool for comfort and airflow, so we recommend:

  • Wearing layers
  • Bringing or wearing white socks (required)
  • Avoiding noisy clothing like swishy jackets or loud zippers

You’ll recline in zero-gravity chairs under a warm blanket while the room fills with microscopic salt particles. Most guests say they feel rested, clear-headed, and even a little “lighter” afterward.

The Cave Is Dimmed for Deep Relaxation

Lighting is intentionally low to create a meditative, spa-like atmosphere. We’ll guide you in and out safely, but we ask all guests to move slowly and quietly so everyone can enjoy the space.

You’re welcome to close your eyes, meditate, or simply breathe and relax. Many guests even drift off to sleep—and that’s perfectly okay.

Reservations Recommended

Sessions often fill up, so we recommend booking in advance to guarantee your spot. You can reserve online in just a few clicks.
